Ah, the details.

My husband and I are not house-hunting with great fervor, but are idly looking. I recently saw a house (a foreclosure) online which looked very good - and underpriced. "I have got to see that," I told my husband. "I want to know what's wrong with it!"
...I found out. Oh my did I find out. Yes, this explains a little:

I especially like the door into open air where the second-floor balcony used to be. They've tied a single length of caution tape over it on the inside.

Fountains and lakes

One shot of water from a fountain - I'm actually very pleased with how it came out, I'd just had my eyes dilated at an eye exam and wasn't seeing very well what I was working with even with the sunglasses. Below the cut, I included a photo I took a long time ago but that I'm very proud of that I think meets both water and light.

Trailing in....

My apologies. As usual, I got photos edited after the end of the aperture. A couple animal photos - and a couple light photos, still topical! :)
Past/present/future light (playing with the word light, yes):

( A close-up of a light; elephants including a baby; and a deer )

Communications / roads

Very decidedly 'roads' rather than other paths. I tried a few creative interpretations (a set of stairs; pipes, as a path for water), but wasn't pleased with the resulting photos. I'm not so sure about the third of the bunch I'm posting, come to that. The first two I think are decent.

I do wish they'd finish that last one, as it's no fun driving it. :P Meanwhile, the 'reflections and glass' aperture, though closed, continues to inspire me. Two more photos resulting from it are here and here. I think they outperform anything I've done for the current aperture, honestly, though the second of the two is grainier than I'd like.

Reflections and glass

Three photos for reflections and glass.

Also, I found one picture I missed during lines and patterns (took then, didn't process) - if you're curious it's here (and probably as good as or better than any that I uploaded). Also, of the ones I uploaded for that aperture, I finally figured out what the spiral was. Not from the server room...one row in a candy vending machine, all sold out.
