I just got a Canon Powershot S90 to replace my old, mostly broken point-and-shoot digital camera. I'm still getting used to having control over focus, aperture, and shutter speed settings again, but here goes.

Barrel of pickles!




Fiddleheads: I was thinking about getting some, but was intimidated when I heard they were toxic when raw. It doesn't sound as if they're particularly hard to cook, though... Maybe later, if I don't miss the season.



Asparagus is an interesting-looking vegetable.

It's amazing. They have multiple barrels of pickles. And yes, the asparagus is a wonderful purple-ish blue along with the green. I am going to roast it. Nom.
