Loki, a white cat with black splotches, grabbing onto my hand to steady himself while he gobbles a treat. In the background, Mr. Bell, a white cat, looks on disapprovingly.

I think that both of these faces are certainly communicating something. Gluttony and avarice, perhaps? (There's a cat treat in my hand, and although the angle is poor, Loki, the cat who is grabbing on to me, is actually on his hind legs in his eagerness to gobble up the treat before Mr. Bell, the cat in the background, has a chance to move in.)

I wonder what he wants to communicate. Maybe something like: "Stop harassing me with your camera! "  ;-D

Drove up to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland yesterday to test out my new camera. Who knew that I would find ornaments featuring communication!

Plus, on the way there, I scored Reflection and Communication!

A x-ray of a cat's midsection, taken while the cat was lying on his back.

It's a bit of a stretch to call this 'communication,' but this x-ray communicates that my cat does not, in fact, have giant tumors anywhere inside him, and I'm pretty darn chuffed about that.

I think these guys do a pretty good job of communicating their need.

It was an interesting morning. Let's just get to the photos, shall we?

It rained last night, so the creek that runs behind my house had some water in it. I headed out for the challenge.

Communication is your new abstract prompt! The abstract prompt stays open for four weeks, running at the same time as the concrete prompts.
