To make things more interesting on some lines the U-Bahn runs above ground and the S-Bahn runs underground. But anyway, our topic is blue, so here we have

This is the entrance to the newest underground station in Berlin. It's right next to the Reichstag and the line it belongs to has only three stops. They plan to connect that line to another one, that ends at Alexanderplatz at the moment, but the projected end of the construction time is 2017.

And this is the very old-fashioned entrance to the station Französische Strasse. The station is in what used to be East-Berlin, but the line, which services it, begins and ends in parts of the former West-Berlin so between 1961 and 1990 no trains stopped there and at the other East-Berlin stations of this line and GDR citizens were prohibited from entering those stations. They were called ghost stations.
