Return of the green thing! Viewing large provides more detail, but my goal, to have the hardware out of focus in physical reality but in focus in reflection, was achieved!

I see something in there, but I can't quite tell what it is. Your cropping/framing here makes me want to see the window hardware as a free-swinging bat/mallet thing that's going to conk into the big glass belly and shatter it.

It's crazy! But that's the first thing I saw here. So much tension in this picture because the shattering feels like it's imminent.

Very intriguing composition and I love the green colour of the glass. What is the hardware? Is it an arm for keeping the window open?

I should take another picture of the hardware itself! It's a bit hard to explain, but, yes, it's a rod that slips through a screw. To open the window, you unscrew the screw and push out the rod to push the window out, and you can screw the screw back down to lock the window open at a certain width.
