It was an interesting morning. Let's just get to the photos, shall we?
It rained last night, so the creek that runs behind my house had some water in it. I headed out for the challenge.

EXIF: 1/25s f/4.0 ISO160 23mm

EXIF: 1/30s f/5.6 ISO320 27mm

EXIF: 1/60s f/5.6 ISO400 55mm
At this point I was standing next to the water, reviewing my photos when I heard a twig snap behind me. I looked up, and three young deer were slowly grazing their way through the woods about 25 feet away. Cursing my lack of telephoto, I stood still and took a few shots anyway. Two of the smaller ones were so curious that they stopped eating and deliberately walked my way. One came all the way down onto the creek bed with me, perhaps 10 feet away before dashing back up the hill. I was caught off guard, since he'd circled around some trees, and I have only an iPhone shot of that. This is the best of the sixty or so pictures I took while they studied me.

All images were white and color balanced (using GIMP 2.6 compiled for MacOSX) and scaled for display purposes, but have not been cropped.
