Lines and Patterns

A drain cover on the footpath I saw this afternoon.



I think the leaves make a kind of pattern with the stems (lines). Possibly more in my head than anywhere else. lol

I don't know what it is, but I LOVE that steel-tread texture. I've always been fascinated by it.

And if that's not a pattern in the ferns, then boy was I mistaken in my understanding of fractals!
