Where I work, all the desks are boring Formica. Do you work in an antique schoolhouse?

I work at a university library and when someone who had this desk left, I swooped down and traded it for my industrial metal and Formica topped desk. I keep thinking I should bring in some sandpaper and refinish it, but then again, I love the weathered look of it, it has character.
