These are all lovely, and clearly you seem to live in some not-North-American locale with the beautiful medieval columns and what looks an awful lot like French limestone...

Thanks for commenting. Yes, south-west France. The best place ever for roman churches in my opinion. They remind us of a time when Aquitaine was a great Duché... This town is about 30 kilometres far from Bordeaux. A great place for vineyards pictures too ! I'm glad you like de stairway ! People are always asking me why I take so much pictures of plain object like stairways (´□`。) (OK, I may be a little too much obsessed with them...)
I love southwestern France. I lived near Limoges for a time (long ago), and had the chance to travel south from there. More recently, I spent a wonderful vacation walking in the Dordogne region, which is where I saw so many wonderful Romanesque carvings like the ones in your photos. I would so much love to go back again.
