After the rain

I couldn't get the camera to focus properly (I hate autofocus!) but I still like the way the sun glitters in the water drops.

Autofocus destroyed what would've otherwise been one of the best pictures I ever took and I tried about six times and it didn't work. I had it just right in my view and focused perfectly, and then autofocus RE-FOCUSED it and screwed it up.

So I feel you. :(

Why can't they make a cheap camera without autofocus?!! I don't mind having all the rest on auto, but PLEASE let me control the focus myself!

Very pretty, with the flower in the foreground.

Autofocus is particularly bad, I've noticed, with reflective surfaces. I could NOT photograph a silver spoon close-up to save my life.

Reflective surfaces and glass is the bane of autofocus it seems :-(
