Light! Plus a kitty!

shutterspeedI love light. And of course, light is what makes photography possible. But there is a certain time of day when the quality of light is just perfect and it makes me itch for my camera.
This first picture is possibly more about the solid subject than it is about light, but it captures pretty well the kind of light I like the best. Sort of full & almost golden.
Light through leaves is another thing I take far too many photos of.
And I thought I'd have more animal photos than this, but this is the best one I've gotten recently. Gus was a farm cat at the farm where my friend was married this past weekend. He was also an attention hog.
