Not that deer are that odd a sight at home, but this one was particularly curious. Both pictures taken at Waterton Lakes National Park while on vacation last week.

I love her 'silly tourist' look.

The sun was just setting behind the mountains behind me. It must have dropped between two because the rest of the valley was dark, but this peak was painted momentarily with sunshine.

Some of my favorite shots are real flukes. I was trying to take a long exposure of the stars when the person in the campsite opposite started their car and turned on the brake lights. (Taken at Dinosaur Prov. Park, AB)
