The first Friday of the month during the dry season, vintage car owners gather in Oakland at a working burger stand and show off their rides, eat burger stand fare, and dance to records from the '50s. The cars are varied, beautiful, and all ages (someone had a Chevy Malibu similar to the one I'd owned with a Very Clean New engine). Some of them are Art Cars in the sense of being the canvas of the owner.
If there is ever an auto challenge, I am Ready.
This car is a low rider, of the type made famous by War ;-) with twelve or so batteries to run Serious hydraulics to lift and lower the vehicle. (Yes, it is on the ground there.) I chatted with the owner last month (I think).
