Shutterspeed

I also have a point and shoot camera, but I have a trick I use to play with the focus - on my camera, I can focus by halfway depressing the shutter until it clicks, and it'll show me on the lcd what it's focusing on. So I put my hand in the shot and focus it, and then move my hand and take the picture, or I pick something the right distance away and focus first (which sometimes leads to, like, focus on the distant mountains, turn around and take a picture of the flower). It's not perfect by any means, but it's fun to play with!

And agree: re re-using old challenge prompts, there are many pictures I could've taken but didn't before.
