I resisted the temptation to assemble a collection of my coolest/most literary/academic books, and instead took a picture of the ones I actually read.



Also messing around with the editing software that came pre-installed on my new pc, because otherwise this would be a very tatty photo.

The new semester has started and books are being put on class reserve for students to use. Would have been nice if the profs had brought them in BEFORE the semester started LOL!

Hi all,

I'm sorry If I was unclear about posting guidelines. Old challenges posts should be saved until the amnesty period, when you can post photos from any aperture. We can have an amnesty period soon (instead of the next challenge, if people are interested). Picture posts during challenges should fit that aperture only. The idea is the current aperture should highlight photos from only those two prompts, and should challenge you to take photos for those prompts; whereas amnesty is a big free-for-all.


While I'm making an admin post! Here are some other nice photography communities that you may be interested in checking out:

common_nature. For nature you see in your daily life.
photographic_i. (This one has challenges for actual DW points, but you can also post any old picture you want.)
