I took a walk along a gorge and a waterfall last weekend, and it was just gorgeous! And also full of interesting water-cut rocks; a lot of the landscape around here is shale, which is layered and fractures along layers and faults to make really neat lines and patterns. Here's a shot of some rough water and the lines in the rock:
I always think that the stone looks so neat and tidy, like layercake or a stack of papers or something.

Namur subway station in Montreal has hexagons hanging from the ceiling. I took this from a moving escalator while trying to catch a train, so I was a little hurried and didn't have time to get the composition exactly the way I wanted to, but it was so perfect for the comm I couldn't miss it.
More things in glass jars! With a guest appearance by...my camera. The light is weird today, and the best shots all had reflections, so, eh, I'm gonna claim it was arty and intentional. Or something. I'm tired.
