Green Two Twice

Some sillier photos today. Around here we have a Dumpster setup to take away last year's green to make room for spring.

I particularly like the green challenge because I'm such a terrible gardener. These neighbors have the right idea: some bulbs, some perennial grasses, concrete and glass.

My trick is to have a *very small* garden.

View of my garden, taking last May. My garden is extremely small, as seen in this picture! There's room for a few lavender shrubs and some Japanese maples.

I have no idea what I will do if I ever have a house with a real yard. Even my postage-stamp sized garden takes a lot of work.

The first picture makes me laugh. And it's such a great composition of different colours and textures and shapes too.
