What I love about this shot is something which you may not be able to see clearly in this resolution; the camera and my hand are perfectly framed inside Mr. Shadow's pupil. Completely unintentional, but I thought it was pretty neat, and it's a bit recursive; the challenge is green, so the focal point is his eye, and...yeah. Anyway. I am unable to say anything more intelligent about cat photos than "awwwwww, kitty!"

Mr. S is a pretty awwww-worthy kitty. He actually has not been feeling very well this week, and every time I have to take him into the vet's, all the vet techs insist on coming to say hello to him. I had to leave him there for a few hours last week, and when I left the *vet* was snorgling him and carrying him around while she did paperwork. I was afraid I was going to have to wrestle someone to get him back!

Wow, that's mellow! My cats are not so fond of the vet. Until the last visit, I didn't even realize one of them knew how to deliberately scratch someone.

I hope Mr. S is better soon!

I adore photos-with-reflections! Does your kitty enjoy modelling?

Mr. Shadow is not really a big fan of the camera (I actually had to hold him to get this picture--yes, that flesh coloured blur at the bottom right is my arm), which is a pity, because he is very photogenic.

His pal Loki is a *huge* ham for the camera though, and Mr. Bell, the third feline resident of the household, pretty much will not let me take the camera out without getting a shot of him. In fact, when I took this picture of Mr. S and then immediately put the camera away, Mr. Bell spent the next two hours pointedly looking at the drawer the camera is in and then sulking.
