I woke up this morning and said 'ok, self, take a picture of something green that is not a plant!'

Look what I went and did:



The problem is, I was taking out the garbage, and I realised that this volunteer iris started blooming, and, I mean: Look at this. How can you not take a picture of that?!

It's a gorgeous flower and a gorgeous picture. I love the way the sunshine makes the green leaves glow.
