I love little boxes; I can't resist opening them up to see what's inside. In this case, some coins from Canada and the United Arab Emirates found a home in this little decorative box.





I bought this object at an "estate sale" (like a yard sale, but in a house, probably a sale after a person dies) a few years ago. I like it a lot, it's a metal thing in the shape of a horse head, a war horse with armor. It sits by the door and sometimes I put my keys on it. I suspect it was someone's art project.

Hehe. The first one reminds me of a box we kept at home when I was a kid. My dad used to travel all over the world for his job and he would bring back strange money from everywhere. Only our box wasn't as pretty.
