Mod post: restarting Shutterspeed

Hi!

I would like to get this community going again, in a way that is a little bit less work for the moderators. I was thinking about modeling the prompts after the way fancake does their prompts:

We decide on a new theme every month (on the 15th) and post recs [in our case photos] for that theme for the next thirty days. We also hold an amnesty round once a year where any of our previous themes is fair game.

We could do rounds once or twice a month, one challenge at a time (instead of 2 as we were doing before). Idea generation for new prompts could happen less frequently, say every couple of months.

Also, would anyone else like to be a moderator?

What are the moderator duties, exactly?

We generally share making mod posts, polls, and tagging. It involves making posts here maybe once a month, and setting up reminders to yourself to do so. In other words, just administration-- so far no drama or anything like that.
