Really cool photo! I like how the purple almost looks like it's only a shading of the black, if that makes sense?

Yes! In actual practice, the earbuds read as black much of the time. Every now and then I look down to where they're hanging around my neck and am surprised by the purple-ness of them!

Who is that in your icon?

That's Gerard Way, lead singer of My Chemical Romance, but it's a rather atypical look for him. I think it's the angle or something. This icon is also Gerard.

*giggle* It's the red hair, ever since he dyed it last year he's been impossible to resist :-)

His resemblance to Paul Gross is remarkable. They have exactly the same short-nose-long-upper-lip-downturned-mouth. There are several photos of Gerard in Google Images search where I'd swear they were father and son.

He's really kind of Man The Measure Of All Things there, isn't he? Nothing lacking in the ego department, has Paul.

Exceptionally sturdy ego. Can be climbed to install storm windows, or placed across the door to keep the Hollywood hordes from attacking.

(Forgive me if you remember, but this is a dream where he's losing his lines on-stage, and realizes the best way to handle it is 'own it'!)

I've heard that before but I've never been into Due South so it isn't something I really notice. I seem to have some very vague memories of someone a couple of years ago writing a not!fic where Gerard actually was Paul Gross' son. I don't think I saved it unfortunately, I would have liked to go back and look at it now.

Also, Due South is wonderful, though not everyone's cup of tea, and Slings and Arrows is fantastic, and a much shorter commitment, with a total canon of 18 eps.
