art book of life an end
Part of an exhibit at my branch library, a group work called "Books on Books," by http://arts-tribe.com

This mixed-media piece is "Book of Life, an End" by Jayne Reid Jackson
It's a cigarbox, standing on end with its cover open, papered with old dictionary and encyclopedia pages including naked figures and skeletons, fitted with mysterious agglomeration of cigarette butts, batteries, wires, and screws
