I took some pictures recently at the San Francisco Academy of Sciences, where there's a large open rainforest exhibit. Which means I have pairs of butterflies and poison dart frogs!

These are the same two butterflies, but from the other side of the plant and with their wings spread:

And these are some really lovely poison dart frogs that were just sitting in a bromeliad a couple feet off the path:
