It was late in the day but still not quite evening. I found this fountain in the building's shadow and employed a few different shutter speeds (ha haha. Sorry) but they all looked like this.
Hey! What's with the mist? (It's behind the cathedral, but it was there when the cathedral was still a parking lot.)
Does the fountain consist of scores of random-length pipe sprouting hedge-hog-like from a central source? Or did the shutter speed capture water jets as dark lines?
And, you've got me hooked: explain the mist, please!
Random-length pipes. (I was hoping to get a blurrier "dome" shape, which didn't actually work)
As far as I know (I should have gone down there when it was not running; I only have pictures when it's active) there are several pipes set to spray (under the flat marble surface) in a circular pattern. I think.
