This challenge continues to be challenging for me--I seem to censor myself, or my eye, or something. But I did spot this the other day.

I really like the way the reflection of the tree darkens/greens up part of the building. It's...I don't quite have the word right this minute, but it makes the image more visually intriguing to me.

That's a very neat picture. I love the contrast between the geometrical windows and the rounded, almost chaotic shape of the mirrored tree.

The tree-shadow/reflection lets you look into the building. I think the façade kind of goes from dimensionless to deep, along that diagonal line.

Thank you. I like it better as I look at it more. I'd still like to figure out how to see lines and patterns more than I do, though.

I've found this challenge surprisingly tough, too. It's helped me to get ideas from the other members, such as fabrics.

Literal-minded me wants to know: where is this Bauhaus-inspired building? It looks DC-ish, but I don't recognize it.

It is pretty Bauhaus-ish, isn't it? It's on NW Naito Parkway at about Davis, I think, in downtown Portland, Oregon. Brand-spankin' new it is, too.

Oh, very nice! I really like the shadow of the tree of the really formal art-deco-y windows.

Ooh, the are Deco-ish, aren't they? As someone else said, Bauhau-ish, too. It's a thoroughly Postmodern building, not a year old. I hadn't consciously thought about its design ancestry.
