Growth pattern

I was going to take a picture of the cinderblock pattern but when I got closer I discovered that the moss between the stones where in flower. So I'm killing two birds with one stone with this picture, both patterns and growth :-)

I love how many of us are shooting for 'patterns' in a way which suggests infinity; I feel like these could be going on forever! And maybe they are...

I've noticed the same thing! I wonder if it's something inherent in patterns, that they make us contemplate eternity, even if only on a small scale.

Very soothing light -- was it overcast?

It was. Not heavily, it was quite light, but enough to eradicate the difference between shadow and light completely.
