My name ismartyna, I'm a twenty-something student of Japanese and Economics in Paris, France and basically I know little about photography. I've got my Nikon D50 from my family upon graduation from high school (my mum is very enthused about photographing herself), but never took a lot of pictures with it - it is simply too heavy to just run around with it in addition to my university stuff and I don't have a habit of going out just to take pictures, prefer to do so on the go.
Is there anything else you'd like to know?
By the way, has anyone here tried to post images here hosted by deviantArt?

Yes, this first picture is actually a curtain. I've been going for the folds as lines and ended up with stitch-lines, too. Photo taken from the down end up.
Not so satisfied, as this one is blurry, but the next one will bring out the texture better. I did want to have the lines, though.
I like the texture of the paper used in our paravent.
The floor, still needing to figure out what will make its colour come out naturally as it's not this way.
Anyone finding what this is? :)
...followed by an easy one:
Love this lamp, it's not used often enough, though.
