november weather

We're having typical November weather here right now, dark and dreary and just blah. This photo is really the perfect example. It can make anyone depressed just by looking at it!

Thank you. I actually quite like it when it's raining, but when it's just grey and dreary like this I HATE it.

Is it weird that I think this is pretty? I like to imagine the crows cawing in the distance... :)

I guess having to live with the world looking like that for several months (unless we get snow) each year makes it a bit difficult to appreciate the esthetic qualities of it :-)

If it has to be overcast I much prefer that it rains. Just cloud and nothing else feels so wasted to me :-)

To me it looks peaceful and pure. Great silver sky and subtle colors.

It's so interesting how different things can seem depending on who's doing the looking. I just feel depressed when I look at it.

The how about a sub-challenge? Something November-ish that improves your mood. I'd love to see it!

Well, it depends on if we get some sunshine this November (not always a certainty unfortunately). If we do I'll almost certainly be able to show you November things that improve my mood. When it continues to rain like it's doing right now just about the only November-ish thing that can put me in a better mood is to light some candles. Which is what I posted a photo of for the comfort promt just now.

If it can be of any comfort to you, we have awful weather here too.
But this weather made a great light to contrast with the tree trunk and a great picture ! Yeah \(^o^)/
